please sir, can i have some more?

ok, this is getting a bit ridiculous. i have had SO much good food over the past few weeks and keep meaning to tell you all about it, but keep getting distracted, by, get this, more food. so, in no particular order, is what i’ve eated lately, in most cases followed by the actual eating of it:


fried artichokes, some sort of pate, radishes and anchovies at momofuku ssam bar.


getting down on said artichokes with octopus salad in the background.


the spread at i trulli’s lambrusco tasting, covered by ganda.


winnie and kyle housing some shrimp at said lambrusco tasting.


embryonic egg salad at palo santo (read: tables for two).


mmmm. pork by the pound (and hipster attitude by the freaking ton). both can be found at fette sau.


wrapped shrimp deliciousness and pork larb at my thai in elmhurst. look for a review in new york mag.


what to do with that heirloom tomato that didn’t quite make it home from the greenmarket? make some pesto with your fire-escape-growing basil and pistachio nuts (instead of pine), dump it all over that juicy, gushing tomato and put it where the sun don’t shine (i.e. my belly).


yummy brains! just kidding…infused vodka (this is tangerine) at bozu. they also have coffee, persimmon, grapefruit, shizo, etc…and a very nice waiter.

and to all of you who made it this far, thank you. i’ll leave you with some choice words of advice:
